Keyhole Wheelchair Back

The Keyhole Back's innovative design improves quality of life by enhancing posture, visual field, respiratory function, balance and trunk support. The Keyhole Back design provides self-customizing support in the Kyphosis area, and is an alternative solution to the problem of comfortable, supportive seating for clients with Kyphosis or other curvature caused by scoliosis, spina bifida, or other conditions.

Heavy duty Velcro Straps in the lumbar area are tailored to provide safe and firm lumbar support.

The Keyhole Wheelchair Back is constructed with a dedicated panel of high quality egg-crate padding. The cushioned front further eases pressure points and ensures the most comfortable seating experience.

The Keyhole Wheelchair Back is made with a combination of flexible, self adjusting Ballistic Nylon, and tough stretchable fabric, which provides the ultimate balance between comfort and durability. The fabric is easy to wipe clean and allows the wheelchair to fold up as intended.

The Keyhole Wheelchair Back fits on most models and sizes of wheelchairs. It is simple to install by sliding it over the handle bars or screwing it to the wheelchair frame. For larger wheelchairs, custom sizing is available.

For the client with a spinal curvature that hits the top edge of the wheelchair back, we have designed the Keyhole Wheelchair Back with an optional elasticized top edge, which will relax out to the desired position while the additional strap is adjusted to support this new position.
